2026 Breeding plans

Mother Nature is in charge of actual dates, but these are my best laid plans. :)

Comet & Kona

The Happy Camper Pairing

Bred July 2025
Expected to go home: November 2026

Some dogs have a way of stealing your heart with the little things they do, and Comet is one of those girls.

Playful, athletic, and completely devoted to her family, Comet has a sweet habit of curling up on her dad's shoes whenever she thinks he might be leaving. It's just one of the many ways she reminds us how deeply connected she is to the people she loves. Don't let her smaller size fool you—Comet is every bit as quick and athletic as her name suggests. She loves to play, explore, and is always ready for the next adventure.

Kona has long been an ambassador for both our breed and our breeding program. Friendly with both people and dogs, he has the kind of easygoing, confident personality that makes everyone feel like an old friend. His exceptional structure, athletic build, and willingness to please have made him a cornerstone of our breeding program. Time and again, he passes on his stable temperament, intelligence, and affectionate nature to his puppies.

Together, we expect this pairing to produce confident, affectionate companions with wonderful trainability, athleticism, and the loving, family-focused temperaments that Great Day Labradoodles is known for.

Families can expect small-medium Australian Labradoodles, approximately 25–30 pounds, with beautiful loose fleece coats.

Possible colors include: Chocolate Black Many puppies may also have beautiful phantom markings.

Great Day hopes to keep a breeding male from this litter. Guardianship : Reasoner family

Congratulations: McClelland family (either)

Stormy & Whysky

The Gentle Hearts Collection

Expected to go home Winter 2026–2027

Some pairings are simply meant to happen.

Stormy is one of those girls who wins people over the moment they meet her. With her easygoing personality, affectionate nature, and remarkable intelligence, she embodies everything we love about the Australian Labradoodle. At 40 pounds, she has a beautiful, sturdy build while remaining incredibly gentle and eager to please.

Whysky has been a cornerstone of our breeding program for the past three years, consistently producing puppies with exceptional temperaments. His calm, therapy-like demeanor, striking square build, and clever personality continue to shine through in his offspring, making him one of our favorite sires.

Together, we expect this litter to produce confident, family-oriented companions with wonderful trainability and loving personalities.

Families can expect medium-sized Australian Labradoodles, approximately 35–40 pounds, with beautiful loose fleece or curly fleece coats.

Possible colors include: Black ~ Blue Merle ~ Chocolate ~ Chocolate Merle ~ Apricot Many puppies may also have beautiful phantom or sable markings.

Dazzle & Maverick

The Companion Litter

Planned Breeding: Oct 2026 for early 2027 puppies
Expected Puppies: Medium Australian Labradoodles

Some pairings just feel like they belong together.

Dazzle is affectionately known as our Great Day Nanny Dog. She hasn't met a puppy she doesn't love and spends countless hours alongside Laura helping socialize and nurture each litter. Gentle, patient, and deeply intuitive, Dazzle has the kind of calm, affectionate personality that naturally puts both people and dogs at ease. Laura has often talked about how well suited Dazzle would be for therapy work because of her loving, steady nature.

Maverick is every bit the gentleman his name suggests. Sweet, gentle, and endlessly patient, he has a quiet confidence that makes him a trusted companion for both children and adults. At 30 pounds, this handsome son of Whysky has inherited his father's intelligence, easygoing temperament, and eagerness to please. His first litter in 2025 exceeded our expectations, producing puppies that were consistently intelligent, confident, and wonderfully easy to live with.

Together, we expect this pairing to produce puppies with exceptional temperaments—calm, affectionate, highly trainable companions that thrive as beloved family members. We anticipate puppies with wonderful emotional awareness, making this an especially exciting pairing for families seeking an easygoing companion with excellent potential for therapy, service, or emotional support work.

Families can expect medium-sized Australian Labradoodles, approximately 30–35 pounds, with beautiful loose fleece and curly fleece coats.

These puppies are expected to embody everything we strive for at Great Day Labradoodles—sound health, exceptional temperaments, and lifelong companionship.

Possible colors include: Apricot Black Many puppies may also be parti.

Chloe & Tater

The Legacy Collection

Planned Breeding: Early 2027
Expected to go home: Spring 2027

Some pairings stand out because of the consistency they produce, and Chloe continues to impress us with every litter.

Chloe has already produced two exceptional litters, and we've been especially pleased with the number of puppies showing the calm, intuitive temperaments we love to see in future therapy and service dogs. She is affectionate, eager to please, and has a wonderful ability to connect with both people and other dogs.

Tater brings outstanding structure, confidence, and a joyful personality to this pairing. Along with his handsome looks, Tater consistently demonstrates the friendly, people-oriented temperament that is the hallmark of our breeding program.

Together, we expect this pairing to produce beautiful, medium-sized companions with exceptional temperaments, athletic structure, and wonderful trainability. We anticipate puppies that will thrive as active family companions while also possessing the calm, people-focused personalities that have made previous Chloe puppies so successful.

Possible colors include: Chocolate Merle Blue Merle Chocolate Black This litter is not expected to produce apricot puppies.

A note about booking fees, selection and litters.

Booking fees are not refundable but they are transferable to another litter. I can never guarantee a specific color/sex combo in a litter but I always list the possibilities in each litter and I will move your deposit upon request. I have no problem working with you and waiting for the exact pup you hope for. Mother nature has complete control over what pups are actually born in every litter and even if there is a litter. I always strive to be transparent in my communications with you about potential litters and current pups.

Selection takes place in the order bookings are received. I try to list each family’s preferences for sex and color but these often change when you meet the pups in person and I do not hold you to what you have put in your application.
